Under the purpose of "Fun for All into the Future," Bandai Namco Group aims to create opportunities to connect people around the world through GUNDAM and create a place of inspiration to think about the “future”.

PAVILION

The life in space that is commonly depicted in the GUNDAM series or the futuristic technology that is not developed yet is something the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION interprets as a possibility for the near future. The pavilion will provide new immersive videos and demonstrations with the pavilion space from phase 0 to 7.

Pavilion

In the pavilion, visitors can experience a "future where life in space is common" with people casually taking the orbital elevator to the space station and mobile suits and people coexisting together.

The participants will enjoy the experience of traveling from the Space Port located at Yumeshima, Osaka to the "Star Jaburo" station via the orbital elevator under the setting of the new Universal Century. In the world where humanity and mobile suits coexist together shown in the video, various mobile suits like the GUNDAM equipped with the G.L.R.S.S Feather UNIT and HARO with a new design make an appearance.

ANIMATION

Large screens with a maximum size of 18m x 8m and the Haptic Floor powered by Sony's Haptics technology will be installed to deliver a delicate and highly immersive sensation for each phase of the pavilion. A 360 degree fully immersive and impressive experience of the “New Universal Century” and “The Future Co-existing with Mobile Suits” will be delivered through the new video in high-definition graphics provided by Unreal Engine 5.

Synopsis

GUNDAM Next Universal Century

A.D.2150. Visiting Yumeshima, you join an observation tour of the giant space station Star Jaburo. With Haro as your guide, you board an orbital elevator and begin a journey to an altitude of 36,000 km. At Star Jaburo, circling the Earth in geostationary orbit, various mobile suits are working to continue the advance into space. Then a sudden incident occurs, as something strange happens to the space debris they are trying to remove...

A CD album containing the music from the video work ‘GUNDAM: Next Universal Century’ will be released on 13th April.
Without being bound by the lineage of previous Gundam music, Evan Call created a total of seven songs based on the theme of ‘Gundam technology changing the future of the world into hope’.
The song ‘Dream Beyond Forever’, sung by Uyanga Bold, an international artist from Mongolia, is a magnificent song that is perfect for ‘a journey into space x Gundam’.

PAVILION DAY

～The “Pavilion Day” event held by participating private pavilion exhibits～ Sunday, July 20, 2025, will be the “Pavilion Day” for the Bandai Namco Group. GUNDAM events are planned to be held at the Expo Hall “Shine Hat” within the venue.
The “Mobile Suit Gundam” series has depicted its Universal Century through various works for over 45 years, and its history will be traced with images and music.
Rich musical expression from the Osaka Symphony Orchestra and diverse performances by Takanori Nishikawa and other guests will guide the audience into the New Universal Century.
Enjoy a musical experience based on GUNDAM theme songs that you wonʼt find anywhere else.
