Building New Fan Touchpoints Through a Prime Location and a Venue Design That Immerses and Connects Fans

Opened in June 2026, Shibuya LOVEZ is the first multipurpose hall owned by the Bandai Namco Group, with a capacity of approximately 2,000 people. The key features of Shibuya LOVEZ are its location in Shibuya, Tokyo, a hub where diverse people gather and new cultures and trends continue to emerge, as well as its roughly 2,000-person capacity, which can accommodate both standing and seated events. At a time when venues of this size are becoming increasingly scarce in central Tokyo, we received steady reservations, including bookings from external users, even before the facility opened. We have also seen encouraging utilization levels, including on weekdays.
The hall’s most distinctive feature is how close the audience is to the stage. The venue is designed to enhance the immersion and spectacle of live music performances and create a sense of intimacy at theatrical productions, allowing audiences to see even the performers’ facial expressions. When designing the venue, we emphasized ease of use for both organizers and performers, from the route between the loading area and the stage to the dressing rooms and parking facilities. The venue’s design also draws on the expertise of Bandai Namco Music Live Inc., and it is expected to serve as an important foundation for the Group’s live event business.

Expanding Group Collaborations and Enhancing Brand Value to Become One of Japan’s Premier Live Entertainment Venues

Going forward, in addition to hosting live music and theatrical performances at Shibuya LOVEZ, we hope to use the venue to increase collaborations with other Group businesses, including esports, trading card game tournaments, and the Amusement Business. At the same time, we want Shibuya LOVEZ to serve as a venue for external artists and corporate events, with the goal of making it a location that comes to mind when people think of Shibuya. We also hope to contribute to the careers of emerging artists who begin their journeys at Shibuya LOVEZ and go on to perform on the world stage.
The name “Shibuya LOVEZ” reflects our desire to support people’s passions and to help create a future in which those passions are celebrated and valued. From Shibuya, we will deliver a diverse range of entertainment experiences and create a place where not only fans can connect but also “like” becomes “love.” In this way, we aim to make Shibuya LOVEZ one of Japan’s leading live entertainment venues, chosen by artists and performers as the place where they want to perform.
