This Winter’s Second Assistance Activities for Areas Hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake
On December 20, 2012, NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. held events to make Christmas wreaths at a child-rearing support center and an after-school kids’ club in Higashi matsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture.
This was the second event of its kind to be held during this winter. On the day, we made Christmas wreaths featuring Jackie, the main character of the popular Bears’ School picture book series, with around 15 sets of parents and children at “Hot Full,” a child-rearing support center, and around 30 children at the Higashiono-Hamaichi after-school kids’ club.
This event is one of the activities that the BANDAI NAMCO Group, in partnership with Save the Children Japan (SCJ), has been hosting for children in areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake since 2011.
The Group has already conducted four similar events The BANDAI NAMCO Group is continuing to carry out various assistance activities targeted at children in areas stricken by the earthquake over the medium to long term
