Supply Chain Management

Basic Approach

The Bandai Namco Group has business sites around the world and engages in business while exchanging goods and services with a variety of stakeholders. It is our mission as a company to minimize environmental impacts and adverse effects on society in our value chain and to help create a better world. As a manufacturer and seller of toys, games, and other products, we are focusing on identifying and addressing environmental and social issues that may arise in regard to our suppliers.

As part of these efforts, we have established the Bandai Namco Group Code of Conduct and the Bandai Namco Group Supplier Guidelines, which serve as a guide for implementing the Code, and share these with our business partners, including our suppliers. The Code and the Guidelines outline the requirements that we expect all Group executives and employees, as well as our business partners, to abide by, and include compliance with laws and regulations and respect for human rights.

In recent years, we have been working to better understand the big picture of the value chain of our core businesses to ensure compliance with the CSRD*, the EU’s sustainability disclosure regulation. We hope that clearly laying out how the Bandai Namco Group is involved with society and the environment will lead to more effective initiatives.

*Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive: The CSRD requires large companies and publicly traded companies operating in the EU to disclose sustainability information. Companies are required to disclose what kind of impact they have on whom in terms of sustainability, and how they are affected by it.
