External Recognition and Initiatives
We aim to increase the transparency of our ESG initiatives and lead the way toward the sustainable enhancement of corporate value. Toward this end, we are working to be included in various ESG indices, gain external recognition, and participate in international initiatives. This page lists the external recognition we have received, including ESG ratings as well as recognition from capital markets, such as inclusion in major stock indexes.
ESG Indices
MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN)
An index composed of Japanese companies that excel in promoting women’s active participation in the workforce. One of the indices utilized by the Government Pension Investment for ESG investment.
MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index
An index that selects Japanese companies with relatively high ESG ratings. One of the indices utilized by the Government Pension Investment Fund for ESG investment.
FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
An index created by FTSE Russell, a part of the London Stock Exchange Group, that consists of Japanese companies with relatively high ESG ratings within each sector.
iSTOXX® MUTB Japan Platinum Career 150
An index jointly developed by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation and STOXX Ltd., an index provider under the Deutsche Börse Group, that evaluates human capital initiatives.

Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
Endorsed the TCFD recommendations in 2021
An international framework that encourages disclosure of the impact of climate change on corporate finances.
GX League
Participated since 2024
A framework for promoting Green Transformation (GX) through public-private collaboration to achieve a carbon-free society.
Japan Partnership for Circular Economy (J4CE)
Participated since 2023
A public-private framework to promote initiatives towards a circular economy.

An international non-profit organization that evaluates environmental information disclosure and climate and water management initiatives.
MSCI ESG Rating

An international rating by MSCI that comparatively evaluates companies’ ESG risk management.
Sustainalytics
2025: Low
An international rating provided by Morningstar Sustainalytics, a subsidiary of Morningstar, that evaluates the level of ESG risks and management status of companies.
Nikkei SDGs Management Survey
2025: ★★★
A domestic survey conducted by The Nikkei Inc. that comprehensively evaluates initiatives for the SDGs.
Certifications for Human Resources and Work Styles
Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category)
Established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2016, this program certifies corporations that implement employee health and productivity management initiatives from a management perspective.

Kurumin Certification
