Forest Management Activities in Spring 2013 at “Forest of BANDAI NAMCO” in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture
NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. conducted forest management activities as part of activities at “Forest of BANDAI NAMCO,” in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture (where the Company signed a “forest adoption agreement”).
Around 20 employees from companies in the BANDAI NAMCO Group participated in the forest management activities. They thinned trees and pruned undergrowth along a promenade.
NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. has “adopted” about 47 hectares of forest in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture (Yamanouchi-machi, Nagano Prefecture) since 2007. It bears a part of forest improvement expenses and also uses the forest as a place for raising its employees’ awareness and understanding of forest preservation through forest management activities and experience in nature by the Group’s employees.
