Solar Power Generation Equipment Installed on Bandai Namco Group Production Locations (Tochigi and Ehime) CO2 Emissions to Be Reduced by Approximately 220 Tons Annually
Bandai Namco Craft Inc. (President and Representative Director: Ko Irie, Head Office: Shimotsuga District, Tochigi), a subsidiary of Bandai Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Kazuhiro Takenaka; Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo), and Heart Corporation (President and Representative Director: Shinya Sugisaki; Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo) installed solar power generation equipment using the PPA* model. This is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 220 tons annually.
*PPA: Power Purchase Agreement. PPA businesses rent the roofs of consumers to install solar panels and sell the generated power to the consumer.
