Forest management activities and an event to exchange with local residents at “BANDAI NAMCO Forest”
NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. conducted forest management activities and held occasions to exchange with regional people on October 5 and 6, 2012 as part of activities at “BANDAI NAMCO Forest,” in Shiga Kogen, Nagano Prefecture (where the Company signed a “forest adoption agreement”).
Around 20 employees from companies in the BANDAI NAMCO Group participated in the forest management activities on October 5, 2012. Under the guidance of staff of Nagano Prefecture and people from Wagokai (a local group), our employees pruned undergrowth and thinned trees along a promenade at “BANDAI NAMCO Forest” and experienced sawing timber from forest thinning.
As part of exchange activities with local residents, we held a screening of “Momo E No Tegami,” a film in whose production the BANDAI NAMCO Group participated, an event targeted at people living near “BANDAI NAMCO Forest.”
