Events for Children at Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture
On December 16, 2016, BANDAI NAMCO Holdings Inc. held events targeting at children in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.
This event is one of the activities that the BANDAI NAMCO Group, in partnership with Save the Children Japan (SCJ), has been hosting for children in areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake since 2011.
We held workshops to make Christmas wreaths featuring Jackie, the main character of the popular "Bears’ School" picture book series and read a picture book to them. Total of over 50 children and their parents participated in the workshops.
The BANDAI NAMCO Group is continuing to carry out assistance activities targeted at children in areas stricken by the earthquake over the medium to long term.
