Bandai Opens Toy & Hobby Factory in KidZania Tokyo: Providing Opportunities to Learn About and Enjoy Manufacturing and Sustainability

On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Bandai Co., Ltd. (President & Representative Director: Kazuhiro Takenaka; Head office: Taito-ku, Tokyo) will open the Toy & Hobby Factory Pavilion, officially sponsored by Bandai, in KidZania Tokyo (Koto-ku, Tokyo), a work and social experience facility for children planned and managed by KCJ GROUP INC. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Michinari Tsumuraya; hereinafter "KCJ GROUP").
The Pavilion provides opportunities for children to gain an interest in sustainability through experiencing the creation of environmentally friendly products, as well as sharing the fun of manufacturing.

To make sure its corporate slogan "Dreams and Creation" connects to the future, Bandai has launched a sustainability project entitled "Future and Creation." The experiences offered in the Pavilion are initiatives based on one of the project's set goals, "Providing educational and experiential value to the children who will lead the future."*

*A sustainability project that works to connect the corporate slogan "Dreams and Creation" to the future, based on the Bandai Namco Group's sustainability strategy "connecting to smiles into the future." It has three goals: cutting CO2 emissions, providing safe and secure products and services, and providing educational and experiential value to the children who will lead the future.
