Creating Musical Instruments Using Open Capsules!
During the Kyoto Ichijoji Festival 2024 Fall Festival, a local event that took place in Ichijoji Temple in Kyoto’s Sakyo-ku on Saturday, October 19, 2024, Bandai Namco held a sustainability event using the open capsules from the namco Aeon Mall KYOTO store as part of Kyoto Seika University’s seminar activities.
The event saw children and students work together to re-use open Gashapon capsules to create three types of musical instruments: drums, guitars, and maracas. As the participants made music with the instruments that they had created, the event became even more fun, with singing and dancing.
Bandai Namco Amusement will continue to proactively work on sustainability activities with customers using its stores as a base.
